Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities for our growing portfolio of hospitality clients. In this role, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the timely, accurate, and reliable delivery of financial information in line with our high service standards.

Operating in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, you will manage competing priorities across different properties and workflows. The ideal candidate has rock-solid accounting fundamentals, learns new systems quickly, and possesses the strong communication skills necessary to maintain trust with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Top Priorities & Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day & Month-End Execution: Execute accurate daily accounting tasks, prepare journal entries, and actively support the month-end close process to meet strict client deadlines.
  • Balance Sheet Integrity: Clean up, maintain, and resolve reconciling items to handle an increased volume of balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring absolute data integrity.
  • System & Process Proficiency: Quickly master our clients' specialized hospitality platforms, ERP tools, and reporting structures to ensure smooth, independent execution across your assigned accounts.
  • Client Service Excellence: Adhere to standardized processes to deliver consistent, accurate, and highly responsive service that aligns with stakeholder expectations.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Requirements)

  • The Experience: 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience. Experience in hospitality, property management, or outsourced accounting services is highly preferred.
  • The Technical Core: Strong, foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and the month-end close cycle.
  • The Hospitality Edge: Familiarity with hotel operations, revenue cycles, and hospitality systems (e.g., Opera, POS platforms) is a distinct advantage.
  • The Tech Stack: Experience or a strong aptitude to quickly learn Ottimate, Acumatica, and ProfitSword.
  • The Mindset: Exceptionally organized with a sharp eye for detail. You are comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, yet you collaborate seamlessly and communicate clearly with teams and clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
