Allied Global is looking for a Web Hosting & Infrastructure Technician to join our growing technical team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing hosting environments while supporting website launches and infrastructure operations for a portfolio of business clients.

What You'll Do

As a Web Hosting & Infrastructure Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring websites remain secure, available, and performing at their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage cloud hosting environments across AWS, DigitalOcean, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Configure and maintain DNS records, domains, nameservers, and email authentication
• Coordinate complete website launches from staging to production
• Install, renew, and troubleshoot SSL/TLS certificates (Let's Encrypt)
• Administer Linux (Ubuntu) servers, backups, firewalls, and security controls
• Monitor website uptime, performance, and infrastructure health
• Troubleshoot website issues including downtime, forms, API integrations, email delivery, and performance problems
• Maintain CRM integrations, third-party services, and website functionality
• Implement website content updates, SEO improvements, accessibility enhancements, and template modifications
• Provide technical support and onboarding assistance to customers through email and phone
• Help maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable hosting platform

Required Qualifications

We're looking for someone with strong experience in web hosting and cloud infrastructure, including:

• Linux (Ubuntu) server administration and command line
• DNS management and domain configuration
• AWS, DigitalOcean, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Web hosting environments and website migrations
• SSL/TLS certificate management
• Server security, hardening, firewall administration, and vulnerability remediation
• Email infrastructure (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, transactional email)
• Website troubleshooting and performance optimization
• CRM and third-party integrations
• SEO fundamentals and web accessibility (WCAG)
• Experience providing technical customer support
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:

• WordPress administration
• Cloudflare
• HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• Bash or Python scripting
• Git and CI/CD pipelines
